Public hearing on Bijou watershed restoration project in South Lake Tahoe

The South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Thursday, April 13, on the Bijou Park Creek Watershed Restoration Project.

Starting at 3 p.m. in council chambers, the hearing will feature a presentation before seeking public feedback regarding the initial study/mitigated negative declaration and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency environmental checklist/mitigated finding of no significant effect, according to a press release.

Those who are interested in submitting written comments have until April 20. Any written comments should be sent to the attention of Hilary Roverud and must be received at 1052 Tata Lane, South Lake Tahoe by 4 p.m. April 20. Copies of the documents and supporting technical studies are available for review at the same location and online at http://www.cityofslt.us/BijouParkCreek.
