Public hearing to be held on mental health plan update
The El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division will host a public hearing for the public to review and provide comment on the Fiscal Year 2012-13 Mental Health Services Act Plan Update.
The draft plan update provides information on current MHSA programs and budgets for this fiscal year. MHSA components in the plan update include: Community Services and Supports; Prevention and Early Intervention; Workforce Education and Training; Innovation; and Capital Facilities and Technology Needs.
A public hearing, hosted by the El Dorado County Mental Health Commission, will be held May 29, from noon to 1 p.m. to gather input. The hearing will be conducted via teleconference at El Dorado County, Health and Human Services Agency, 1360 Johnson Blvd., No. 103, in South Lake Tahoe.
Public comment may also be submitted through May 28, via email to mhsa@edcgov.us or via postal mail to: Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division, MHSA Project Team, 670 Placerville Drive, Suite 1B, Placerville, CA 95667.
The Health and Human Services Agency will document and consider all substantive feedback before submitting the final Fiscal Year 2012-13 Plan Update to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
