Public hearing to be held on SnowGlobe Music Festival

The Lake Tahoe Community College Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing Tuesday at 6:20 p.m. in the college board room to allow the community to express any comments or concerns on the SnowGlobe music festival scheduled for Dec. 29-31, 2012.

The city of South Lake Tahoe approved a special event permit for the three-day music festival last week. The festival is set to take place on the community playfield adjacent to the college.

College administrators will be working with a committee that includes the city, chambers of commerce, neighbors and the Lake Tahoe Visitor Authority to try to ensure the event meets the priorities and goals of the community, a press release from LTCC stated.
