The Hangar at South Lake Tahoe opens pumpkin patch the weekend

Halloween decorations are coming out and the search for the best pumpkin is on.
The Hangar Taproom and Bottle Shop is hosting the only pumpkin patch in South Lake Tahoe this fall.
Not only is there going to be hay bales, cornstalks and pumpkins, but there will be beer, and lots of it, 30 craft beers on tap to be exact. This might just be the first pumpkin patch that you don’t have to sneak a beer into.
The pumpkin patch will open Sunday, Oct. 13, and will be open until all the pumpkins are gone.
The Hangar opened in July 2018 with a mission to offer South Lake Tahoe something unique. They source from small and rare breweries around the country.
They are located right off U.S. Highway 50 complete with cornholes, horseshoes, board games and fire pits. While they don’t have a kitchen in the taproom, they regularly have food trucks on the property.
The Hangar is located at 2401 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 2-10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday noon to 10 p.m.
