Push Fitness hosts Dugard fundraiser
Push Fitness will host a fundraiser for Jaycee Dugard on Friday night, Oct. 2, featuring fitness classes and talks from local health professionals.
Dr. Kim Chatfield will talk about the immune system, Dr. Celeste Eckerman will present “The gateway to health is your mouth,” Dr. David Borges will talk about human bio-mechanics, Vickie McKenna will discuss diabetes prevention, June Denney will speak on “How to eat and lose weight forever,” Cassandra Chandler will discuss the myths and benefits of strength training, and Colleen McDonough will speak on the art of meditation and give a Yoga class.
The fitness benefit starts at 5 p.m., and talks end at 9 p.m., followed by a two-hour spinning class.
The cost is $20 per person for the entire night. All donations will go to Jaycee Dugard and her family.
Booths are available for local businesses to advertise their services.

El Dorado County deputies arrested two people on suspicion of grand theft and possession of burglary tools after reportedly finding items linked to catalytic converter thefts in a vehicle during a traffic stop Jan. 13.
