Quarterback Club kicks off season
South Tahoe High School Quarterback Club will conduct its Kick Off Barbecue meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at Steamer’s Bar & Grill, 2236 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
Everyone is welcome and volunteers are needed.

El Dorado County deputies arrested two people on suspicion of grand theft and possession of burglary tools after reportedly finding items linked to catalytic converter thefts in a vehicle during a traffic stop Jan. 13.
