Quiksilver gives to needy families

Specialty Sports, which includes stores such as Quiksilver, Patagonia at Heavenly, The North Face, Heavenly Sports California and Nevada, Gondola Sports, Heavenly Eyes and Burton at Heavenly, raised more than $12,000 for Tahoe Magic during the holidays.

Quiksilver raised more than $3,000.

Tahoe Magic has been bringing Christmas to families and children who are financially needy over the past 15 years, and it continues to help out families all year long.

In addition, working in cooperation with other agencies, Tahoe Magic can help families with children that are in financial crisis throughout the year.
