‘Radio Daze’ to feature songs from the 1940s

The Tahoe Choir and the Lake Tahoe Chorus will present “Radio Daze” this weekend at the Lake Tahoe Community College Duke Theatre.

“Radio Daze” will feature 30 songs from the 1940s, including “Sentimenal Journey” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz.” All singers will be dressed in attire from that decade. The performance will include solos, quartets, a quintet and a sextet. The choir will be directed by Linda Mitchell and accompanied by Salli Parker on piano. Other musicians will accompany the choir on percussion and guitar.

Performances wil be held May 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. and May 6 at 2 p.m. The box office will be open a half hour prior to each performance. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Tickets can also be purchased from choir members.

Lutheran Church members will also sell snacks at each concert.
