Raiders dealing with injuries heading into game with Rams

The Associated Press

ALAMEDA – Oakland Raiders left guard Robert Gallery is doubtful for Sunday’s home opener against the St. Louis Rams with a hamstring injury.

Gallery has not practiced all week and coach Tom Cable says he is not optimistic that he will be healthy enough to play.

Defensive tackle Richard Seymour did not practice for a third straight day with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable. Running back Michael Bush is also questionable with a broken left thumb.

Nickel cornerback Chris Johnson (neck) and backup safety Hiram Eugene (hamstring) are also questionable.

Cable also said Friday he had not decided whether rookie Jared Veldheer will start again at center, or if Samson Satele will get the nod.
