Realtors plan golf tournament
Spots are still open for golfers to enter the annual golf tournament of the South Lake Tahoe Board of Realtors sponsored by the affiliates. The tourney will take place June 12 at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Type of play will be scramble and the shotgun start is at 1 p.m. To whet your appetite, there will be a hole-in-one contest with a $5,000 prize.
Novices are welcome and single players can be matched up for a foursome. The cost is $60 per person and includes dinner after the game. A raffle featuring great prizes will be held with proceeds benefiting the community.

Lake Tahoe resort security guards rescue man from drowning
STATELINE, Nev. — A California man who almost drowned at a Lake Tahoe resort on Monday night has been discharged from the hospital, local emergency management officials said.
