Rebecca Ann Allman, 50, a resident of South Lake Tahoe from 1980 to 1996, passed away July 4, 2006, at her home in Phoenix, Ariz.

She was a devoted daughter, loving partner, caring friend, sister and aunt. She was a guardian of all animals and a dedicated employee – a woman whose sense of humor, great smile, cheerful disposition and caring nature made her unforgettable to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Delores Allman; sister, Robyn Honeycutt; nieces, Mandy Allman, Christy Clark and Cari Chanley; four great-nieces and one great-nephew; life partner, Mary Beth Piner; and puppies, Dante and Sergio, all of Phoenix. She was predeceased by sister, Lauri Allman; and brother, John Robert Allman.

A celebration of life and friendship has been scheduled Nov. 4 in South Lake Tahoe.
