Red, white, blue dance concert

Provided to the Tribune

There will be a patriotic theme Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

People are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and listen to the Tahoe Dance Band from 8 to 10:30 p.m.

It is not necessary to attend as a couple. There will be “mixers” to see that everyone has a chance to get up and dance and get acquainted. There are always men and women who come alone and find dance partners or to just enjoy listening to the music, said spokeswoman Arline June Gordon.

The $6 admission includes appetizers, cheese, wine and desserts. There are door prizes and a raffle.

Contact: Gordon at (775) 588-6997 or Francine at (530) 541-8380.
