California unemployment rate holds steady at 4.1 percent
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California’s unemployment rate held steady at 4.1 percent in November.
The state Employment Development Department said Friday that employers added 30,700 non-farm payroll jobs last month.
Nine industry sectors added jobs while two reported job losses.
California’s unemployment rate was 4.5 percent in November 2017.
The rate reached a record low of 4.1 percent in September and has remained there.
