Registration nears for kindergartners

Children entering kindergarten in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District in September must register May 7 through 18. Parents should register their children at the elementary school which they wish their child to attend.

To be eligible for enrollment, a child must be 5 years of age on or before December 2, 2001.

— TB skin test (Mantoux type only). The test must have been read within the past six months.

— A health examination upon entry to school. Schedule an appointment with you family doctor or the El Dorado County Health Department at (530) 573-3155.

— Proof of California residency.

Please call your school for an appointment to preregister.
