Relay for Life to take place at Kahle Park

Relay for Life will be held Saturday at Kahle Park.

Teams of people will camp out and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. A survivors lap will begin the event. At night, hundreds of luminaria will adorn the track, lighting the way in honor of those lost to cancer, those fighting cancer and cancer survivors.

Bark for Life, a canine event to fight cancer, will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Kahle Park. Registration is a $10 donation per dog.

Proceeds fro the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The relay will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
