Remodel set for hospital’s meeting rooms

Provided to the Tribune

Barton Hospital offers its meeting facilities to many groups throughout the community for various needs. Whether a youth organization, support group or another body of people needing meeting space, Barton is happy to work with a reservation scheduled to accommodate community needs. There are limitations and the conference room is heavily used during the days, which makes it more likely to be available for evening and weekend use.

“With our offer also comes a reciprocal expectation that visiting groups maintain our standards of confidentiality, professionalism and respect,” said Linda Thompson. Barton public relations director.

“With this in mind, we do reserve the right to, as restaurants indicate, ‘reserve the right to refuse service to anyone’ who does not follow the guidelines.

Any group that is using the room is advised that Barton will be renovating the area sometime next year, which may require them to use another facility in the transition. Meanwhile, if a group is interested in checking availability for a meeting date and time, contact Louise Lake, Health Resource Center coordinator, at (530) 543-5537.
