Reno airport reopens parking structures

The second and third floors of the parking structure at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport reopened Thursday.

The first floor is opening Friday, Sept. 28, with barriers to indicate where motorists may park. This floor accommodates 200 spaces for short-term parking.

For long-term parking, nearly 1,000 spaces will be available of the 1,600 spaces in the garage.

The structure has been closed since the Sept. 11 terrorist attack upon the Federal Aviation Administration issuing a mandate requiring vehicles park no closer than 300 feet away from the terminal.
