Reno man dies in auto crash

A 25-year-old Reno man died Friday night after a Chevrolet Blazer flipped several times on Interstate Route 80 at Mogul, Nev., and ejected him into on-coming traffic.

The man was not wearing a seat belt when he lost control of the 1991 white and blue Blazer going east at 8:55 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol said. The vehicle came to rest on a median between the east and west lanes.

Troopers reported that the Blazer was speeding before the accident but it is unknown if alcohol was involved.

The man’s name will be withheld until a family member is notified about the death.
