Reno’s Decoy plays a free show Friday evening as part of a series of concerts at the state line development throughout the summer. The group specializes in classic rock, new country, modern rock and Top 40 hits.

“Decoy is one of Northern Nevada’s leading cover bands, consisting of some of the area’s top musicians. Known for their super high-energy shows, excellent vocals and varied song list, Decoy was recently voted best Casino Band by the Reno News and Review for 2015-2016,” according to the group’s online biography. “Decoy plays everything live, no pre-recorded tracks, sappy lounge songs or barely there vocals and solos. Decoy is dedicated to giving 100 percent at shows, keeping patrons on the their feet all night long. Expect to hear the most popular rock, pop, and country hits — Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Pink, Lynard Skynard, Cee Lo Green, Greenday, Miranda Lambert, Jimi Hendrix, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, Sublime, AC/DC, Joan Jett, Zach Brown Band, Led Zepplin, Journey, The Clash, Weezer, Black Keys, many more – over 100 top hits!”



Heavenly Village is located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way in South Lake Tahoe.

The Village will offer free music on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as July 3, throughout the summer.
