Reward offered in Stateline casino vehicle burglary

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a March 12 vehicle burglary at a casino.

According to reports, the victim parked his vehicle at the MontBleu lot E area at the Stateline casino. A man pulled into the parking stall alongside the victim’s vehicle. He exited his vehicle and entered the casino where he met two other males. The suspect returned to his vehicle with one of the men he met inside the casino.

As the men arrived at their vehicle, they opened the trunk, removed an object and approached the victim’s vehicle.

One of the suspects broke a side window and removed a GPS unit mounted to the windshield. Both men got in their vehicle and left the parking lot.

Anyone with information is asked to call DCSO Investigator Garren at 775-586-7255, or Douglas County Secret Witness at 775-782-7463.

Douglas County Secret Witness is seeking information on any criminal activity in the Douglas County area. Cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of perpetrators. Total anonymity is assured. Payment will be made in any manner that the caller prefers.
