The Rhythm & Brews Festival, sponsored by the Tahoe Tallac Association, will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 17 on the lawn at Valhalla, Tallac Historic Site. The event was formerly held at Stateline casinos.

The cost is $15 per person and includes a souvenir glass and 10 tasting tickets. Tickets for designated drivers are $10 each. Everyone must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Fifteen finely crafted brews will be available for tasting. Every type of beer imaginable will be offered, from dark ales, porters and stouts to pale ales, bocks, wheat beers, lagers and everything in between. Warm sun, great food and the hot sounds of Kenny “Blue” Ray will transform the lakeside Valhalla lawn into a Rhythm & Brews paradise.

The festival is a fund-raiser for the Tahoe Tallac Association, a nonprofit arts organization at South Lake Tahoe dedicated to bringing quality cultural arts to Lake Tahoe. Proceeds will help the community programs and Valhalla Arts & Music Festival. For more information call (530) 541-4975.
