Ribbon cutting Thursday for Luigi’s Pizzeria

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Luigi’s Pizzeria on Kingsbury Grade will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening from 4-7 p.m. Thursday to celebrate six months in business.

Owner Debi Tilley opened the pizzeria in October. She has lived in Lake Tahoe as a full-time resident for 21 years and has two sons, Nick, 16 and Chris, 14.

She named the restaurant in memory of her father, Luigi Francis.

Luigi’s offers homemade pizza dough, original recipes and fresh ingredients.

The restaurant also hosts locals-only specials including beer and wine discounts. The wall decor is devoted to young local athletes.

Luigi’s is located at 209 Kingsbury Grade and also delivers.
