Richard ‘Ricky’ Hightower

At his request no services are planned for Richard Annis “Ricky” Hightower, who died Dec. 9, 2004, at Barton Memorial Hospital. He was 44.

Ricky was born Dec. 11, 1959, at Stockton, Calif. He moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1993. He had been a journeyman for 16 years in carpentry and painting and was a Mercedes Benz technician. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, writing and training dogs.

Ricky cherished his family and friends and had a substantial impact on many lives. He was clever, profound and brilliant – a uniquely gifted individual. His love for his family and the Lord are undeniable and inspiring. Remembering Ricky will be easy as he is truly unforgettable.



He is survived by his wife, Cari of South Lake Tahoe; son, Eli, 14, of South Lake Tahoe; daughters, Kapri, 7 months, of South Lake Tahoe, Heather, 22, of Georgetown, Calif., and Jasmine, 24, of South Lake Tahoe; nephew, Jesse of South Lake Tahoe; niece, Jenni of Colorado; granddaughter, Sydney of South Lake Tahoe; and dear friends, Lisa of South Lake Tahoe and Trae of Arizona.

An account for the minor children of Richard Hightower has been established at El Dorado Savings Bank of South Lake Tahoe with Cari Long as trustee.
