Chains mandatory for 46 miles between 9.1 miles east of Placerville, Calif., and Junction of California State Route 89.
” Snowtires or chains required for 26.8 miles between Junction of California State Route 89 and 0.4 miles west of Junction US 395 at South Carson City.
Chains mandatory for 32.1 miles between 3.6 miles west of Dew Drop, Calif., and 2.2 miles east of Silver Lake, Calif.
” Road closed due to avalanche control for 2.6 miles between 2.2 miles east of Silver Lake California and Kirkwood, Calif.
” Chains mandatory for 14.2 miles between Kirkwood, Calif., and Junction State Route 89 at Picketts Junction.
” Snowtires or chains required for 4.7 miles between Junction State Route 89 at Picketts Junction and 1.1 miles west of Woodfords, Calif.
Chains mandatory for 34.1 miles between Bliss State Park and 4.9 miles north of Truckee, Calif.
