Roadwork to cause delays on Kingsbury Grade
Nevada Department of Transportation is advising motorists driving on Kingsbury Grade to give extra travel time on Oct. 29 and 30.
NDOT will be filling roadway cracks on sections of Kingsbury Grade from Meadow Drive to Tramway Drive.
The sections will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and traffic flaggers and pilot cars will be directing traffic during that time.
This work is part of an effort by NDOT maintenance staff to provide a smoother driving surface and reinforce the highway from wear and tear during the winter.
