Robert E. Henry

Private services were conducted for Robert E. Henry, who died Aug. 9. 2004, at Barton Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. He was 76.

Robert was born Feb. 26, 1928, at Cheyenne, Wyo. He became a Navy man and served two tours before making Tahoe his home more than 40 years ago. He had been employed as the chief steward at Harveys Resort & Casino. Robert lived a rich, full life and was loved by family and friends alike. He will always be in their hearts and forever will be missed.

He is survived by brother, Bill Henry of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters, Coroline Morris of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Diane Wilson of Calgary, Canada; and several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Robert did not have any children of his own, although one wouldn’t have guessed it by the way he was with his niece and nephew, Vince and Rebekah Morris of Lake Tahoe, whom he treated as his own.
