All varieties of rock and roll will fill the Cabo Wabo Cantina at Harveys Lake Tahoe this week when Reno’s Audioboxx takes the stage at the South Shore bar and restaurant Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21.

The band plays everything from classic rock to heavy metal.

“Maybe you’re looking for Poison, Def Leppard and Journey. Or maybe you’ve had a stressful week and want to let loose with some AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Metallica,” according to the group’s online biography.

Mostly Audioboxx just seeks to entertain its crowd.

“Our goal is to ensure you get home with a smile on your face and unforgettable memories,” according to the bio. “We take the music and the show very seriously, but that doesn’t mean we take ourselves very seriously. We love having fun on stage. We joke around with each other and the audience, and the playfulness is genuine because we truly love what we do. More importantly, we enjoy meeting and talking to our crowd on breaks. It gives us the time to be personable with you. We get the chance to learn about you. Especially what kind of music you’re passionate about. Many times our next set is designed completely of the song requests we received on our break.”

Audioboxx is comprised of Mario Guzman (vocals), Andy Kimberly (guitar), Jesse Easter (various) and Beau Melia (drums).

Cabo Wabo is located inside Harveys Lake Tahoe at 18 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline. Music typically starts about 9:30 p.m.
