Rock the Boat is scheduled to set sail once again following a series of on-the-water shows at Lake Tahoe this summer.

The party producer’s Halloween Ghost Ship is scheduled to feature three levels of music performed on the M.S. Dixie II Halloween night.

“Rock the Boat is back with it’s first ever Halloween Party,” according to an event description. “Captain Zach’s favorite holiday has always been Halloween and he is going BIG on this one. The idea is to transform the MS Dixie II into a haunted ‘Ghost Ship’ Each level not only having a different style of music as always, but each level having its own creepy Halloween theme.”

The bottom floor of the ship will feature black lights, go-go dancers, light shows, jugglers and performances by Deejay Theory, Irieyes and Hephay. Smoke machines, strobes, lasers and disco lights will fill the second level, with Reno funk act Jelly Bread taking the stage. House DJs Jami Deep and Zach Rawlinson will perform on the ships top deck unless the weather doesn’t cooperate.

There will be prizes given for the most creative and sexiest costumes. Prizes will also be given to the winners of an old-school dance-off at the event.

Shuttles to and from both shores of Lake Tahoe are available to the event, which runs from 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 to 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.

Tickets start at $35. After-parties at both shores are planned.
