Roll-over accident snarls traffic on eastbound Highway 50

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A rollover accident near Grocery Outlet has traffic backed up to the “Y” on eastbound Highway 50. Anyone traveling in that direction should prepare for delays.

Officers have yet to release information on the cause of the crash. From the scene, it appeared two vehicles were involved. A white utility van had rolled over into a tree bordering the Grocery Outlet parking lot. The extent of the driver’s injuries are unclear. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
