A 26-year-old woman from Carson City had been drinking alcohol when she rolled a black Chevrolet pickup Saturday afternoon at U.S. Highway 50 and Zephyr Cove Resort, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

Nina Rehmann was headed northbound at 1:20 p.m. when she drifted into the southbound lane. She overcorrected her steering and flipped the 1990 pickup onto its side. It came to rest blocking southbound traffic.

NHP reported Rehmann’s injuries as moderate. She was treated and released from Barton Memorial Hospital the day of the accident.

Rehmann was speeding before she crashed, according to NHP. Troopers have not ticketed Rehmann for DUI but they are still investigating the wreck.
