Ron Goodhue, 57, passed away Sept. 27, 2006. Ron was born Nov. 13, 1948, in Lynwood, Calif.
Ron was surrounded by his family when he passed away, after enduring a courageous battle with leukemia.
Ron was a longtime resident of South Lake Tahoe, where he and his wife, Frances, moved in 1973.
To live in the mountains was their dream, and Ron never failed to see the beauty of this area each and every day. He and his wife raised three amazing children. Ron loved NASCAR and restoring vintage cars. He rarely met a person he didn’t like and in turn, he was loved by many. He will be missed.
Ron is survived by his “bride,” the love of his life for 38 years, Frances; daughters Sarah Billings of Watsonville, Calif.; Jennifer Northcutt of Gardnerville, Nev.; son Robby Goodhue of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren, Savannah, Aedan, Ocean, Cameron and Anna; sister Jeanne Seldon; brother Jim Goodhue; and his faithful furry friends who never left his side through his illness, Fred, Roger and Emma.
A celebration of life will he held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Sierra Community Church. All are welcome.
