Rotary Club awards its top honor

The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe presented the Nels Nelson Award to Dr. Richard Beck at the recent Rotary officer installation dinner.

The top Rotary honor award is named for charter Rotary President Nels Nelson and recognizes members whose selfless actions demonstrate the ideals of Rotary. Dr. Beck, a member since 1986 and a past president of the club, has been involved in countless community service projects over the years. He has just finished a two-year term as club secretary.
