Rotary looking for volunteers


SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe is hosting community service days over the next three months, and invites any interested community members to join. These Rotary at Work days provide necessary volunteer time for projects all around town and are fun to do with friends and family.

Upcoming events include:

• Planting Sugarpine saplings for the Sugarpine Foundation, 9 a.m. April 30;

• Building picnic area at Taylor Creek (weather permitting), 8 a.m. May 21;

• “Build a Park in a Day at Bijou Community School” includes planting trees, assembling picnic tables, building stepping stone playground borders, 8 a.m. June 4;

• Sawmill Pond cleanup and barbecue, date to be determined.
