Rotary seeks young professionals for trip to South Korea

Rotary International is be looking for four young professionals from north-eastern California and northern Nevada to travel to South Korea in 2011 for a cultural exchange.

At 3:30 p.m. today at the Lake Tahoe Community College cafeteria, 1 College Drive, Rotary will host an informational meeting to discuss the travel program.

Jen Spina, the college’s international education coordinator will discuss her recent trip to India with three other young professionals sponsored by the South Lake Tahoe Rotary Club.

The group spent five weeks touring two states in southern India. The group stayed with host families and spent the days immersing themselves into the life and culture of India.
