Sacramento police arrest suspect in South Lake Tahoe bank robbery

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Sacramento police arrested a man suspected of bank robberies in South Lake Tahoe, Sacramento and San Francisco, according to a press release sent out by the Sacramento Police Department.
Police arrested 52-year-old Michael Johnson around 4 p.m. Wednesday near the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento.
Johnson is suspected of robbing the River City Bank in Sacramento on Feb. 15 and Jan. 25, two bank robberies in San Francisco and one in South Lake Tahoe, according to the press release. Sacramento police officials would not say exactly what South Lake Tahoe bank robbery he is suspected of. Johnson’s picture is not being released at this time.
The Wells Fargo inside the Raley’s at the Village Center was robbed on Jan. 30.
