Sale benefits Humane Society

For three days all merchandise in a store at1046 Emerald Bay Road, between Raley’s and Payless Shoes in the South “Y” Shopping Center, will be sold at 25 cents each to benefit the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A. Volunteers will staff the store July 19, 20, and 21. All sales will be cash only and exact change would be appreciated. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

After the benefit sale the store will be permanently closed. Teachers, party and gift givers have a great opportunity to stock up on fun novelty items while supporting the 100 percent donation-dependent, local animal welfare organization.

A mobile adoption information event will take place two doors down from the sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 21. Visitors can see a photo display of all shelter pets waiting for adoption and can pick up helpful information. Staff and volunteers will showcase a few of the wonderful orphan dogs looking for new guardians.
