Celebrate the start of the weekend by rocking out with Sammy Hagar & The Circle on Friday, Aug. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Harveys Outdoor Arena.

“Sammy Hagar & The Circle will take fans on a musical journey through rock history with a set list spanning four decades of Hagar’s hits from Montrose, his solo career, Van Halen and beyond — and with Bonham on board, they can also expect a few Led Zeppelin classics,” states a press release from Kampaign PR.

“Led by Sammy Hagar, the Grammy Award-winning vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and #1 New York Times bestselling author, The Circle also features Michael Anthony, the renowned rhythm section bassist who has played with him for the past 30 years in bands including Van Halen and Chickenfoot; Vic Johnson, guitarist from Hagar’s band The Wabos; and Jason Bonham, the acclaimed drummer and son of iconic Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham,” states the release.

After his stint as lead singer of Montrose, Hagar launched a successful solo career before joining Van Halen in 1985. During his time with the band, they notched four consecutive No. 1 albums before breaking up in the mid-’90s.

“Along his journey, the ‘Red Rocker’ has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written with songs like ‘I Can’t Drive 55,’ ‘Right Now,’ and ‘Why Can’t This Be Love,’” states the release.

Tickets are $69.50 plus tax and fees, and are available at Harveys Outdoor Arena is located at Highway 50 Stateline Avenue.
