SAT prep classes offered this summer at South Tahoe High

Staff report

Doing well on the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT, increases a student’s chance of being admitted to the college of their choice. Many students prepare for this test by taking a class. This summer, South Tahoe High School students will have the chance to prepare for this test locally.

Sherwood Test Prep, a nationwide test prep academy, is offering a three-week course starting on Monday, July 19th. Classes are Monday and Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at South Tahoe High School. The cost is $349 and includes “The Official SAT Study Guide” published by the College Board, practice tests and all other material. Please register online at http://www.sherwoodtest.com/sths.

Class size is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. For information, contact Sherwood Test Prep at http://www.sherwoodtest.com or toll free at (866) TEST-PREP (837-8773), or STHS counselor Michelle Reilly at mreilly@ltusd.org, or (530) 543-2255, ext. 237.
