School trustees to hold meeting today
Strategic Plan revisions headlines the agenda today for a special meeting of the Douglas County School District Board of Trustees at Carson Valley Middle School.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. in the CVMS library.
Trustees may take action to decide any further direction needed for DCSD staff to complete the 2014 edition of its Strategic Plan. Previously, the school board held a full-day retreat along with employees from schools and departments as well as representative from community and parent groups to discuss strategic planning. Trustees reduced the master list of suggestions on March 31 to identify high priority items.
The school board could decide to continue with the 2012 version of the plan currently in place.
The school board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is May 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Douglas High School.
