Schools hold safari banquet

Zephyr Cove Elementary and Kingsbury Middle schools are beneficiaries of the upcoming 18th annual Club Safari Auction. The proceeds from the auction will be split evenly between the two schools.

Sponsored by the parents club of each school and hosted by Harveys Resort & Casino, the event is open to the public and is set for Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $35 per person.

Ticket prices include a prime rib dinner buffet, breast of chicken Chardonnay and sun-dried tomato broiled lamb chops, as well as complimentary cocktails, live entertainment and dancing.



Auction items to be featured include a family getaway to San Diego, a Napa Valley trip, golf packages to area courses including Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, jewelry, portrait sessions, dinners and quilts.
