From 2 – 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8 experience Tahoe’s art scene.
Local artists Sheilah Boothby and Scott Forrest have partnered together to give South Lake Tahoe a day filled with art with the Tahoe Art Walk.
The Tahoe Art Walk happens every second Saturday of the month and offers free self-guided tours at local art galleries throughout the south shore.
Each of the venues chooses how they want their participants to experience the art.
Each venue will offer something a little different.
The Tahoe Art Walk brings the community together to appreciate art.
Each month new locations are added to the art walk map. Lake Tahoe Lake Tahoe Paint and Sip will have a class for this month’s Tahoe Art Walk.
From 2 – 4 p.m., sip on wine while painting “Cup o’ Cocoa” with guidance from a talented artist.
Also, Cat Makes Things is this month’s featured artist for the Tahoe Art Walk.
Cat Makes Things will be at GaiaLicious making jewelry, accessories and home décor using locally sourced crystals. The Marcus Ashley Gallery will be featuring the Malcolm Tibbetts Winter Show complete with drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
