Senior center to host potluck

A potluck with entertainment will be held Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

The event will feature a comic presentation by Vern Lee and Francine Garcia; a humorous original poem by Vern, a song, “My Funny Valentine” by Francine and a ballad by Jill Sharlow.

The potluck will begin at 5:30 p.m. Those who plan to attend are asked to bring their own plate, utensils and eitehr a salad, fruit, side dish or dessert for six to eight people. Sandra Stephens will prepare lasagna. Guests are asked to call her at 530-542-2034 to discuss what to bring so there will be a variety of food.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the senior center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Guests are welcome and everyone can participate in a cash raffle. For more information, call Arline at 530-545-1277.
