Senior driving safety class to be offered

An Association of Retrired Persons (AARP) driver safety class for senior drivers will be sponsored and held at the Kahle Community Center on Aug. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The cost of the class to cover workbooks and materials is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, payable at the start of the class. Pre-registration is required. Those who complete the class should receive an auto insurance discount for three years. Participants are asked to bring a pencil or pen. The instructor will be Irv Phillips. To sign up call 775-586-7271. The center is located at 236 Kingsbury Grade in Stateline, Nev.
