An 88-year-old South Lake Tahoe woman suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when she was struck by a vehicle.

According to South Lake Tahoe police investigators, Libuse Willett was crossing Lake Tahoe Boulevard outside a crosswalk around 1:19 p.m. when she walked into the path of a Ford Explorer.

Joyce Horton, the driver of the sports utility vehicle, was making a left hand turn out of the Raley’s Supermarket when the accident occurred, police said.

Investigators said no determination about possible citations had been made.
