The family has extensive hospital bills and additional living expenses associated with Bailey’s illness.

Bailey is the son of Ron and Kelly Johnson of Jacks Valley, Nev., and the grandson of Tim and Christy Smith of Stateline, Nev. Ron is a firefighter in Incline Village, Nev., and Tim is the fire chief for the Tahoe-Douglas Fire Protection District.

The dinner, raffle and auction will take place at the Elks Lodge, 1635 Elks Club Drive in Meyers. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will feature all-you-can-eat spaghetti. Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for youth 6 to 12 years and free for children under 6. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling (530) 577-2094.
