Lake residents can watch the Douglas County Sheriff’s first cable show starting Dec. 9 on channel 19 at 7 p.m.

Carson Valley viewers will be able to watch the first production live this Thursday. The show, hosted by Sgt. Lance Modispacher, will feature Deputy Investigator Ted Duzan speaking on domestic violence. The recorded program will run every Thursday in December.

Sheriff Ron Pierini will discuss New Year’s Eve and how the event unfolded in Douglas County on the next program scheduled for recording on Jan. 6.

Sgt. Modispacher said the public is invited to give input on a name for the show and topics for discussion. Suggestions can be made by calling the information line at (775) 782-9931 or by writing the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department at P.O. Box 218, Minden, Nev. 89423.
