Sheriff’s office investigating suspicious death in South Lake Tahoe
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a field behind the 1200 block of Winnemucca Avenue in the unincorporated area of South Lake Tahoe around 4:20 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
“Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male in a moderate state of decomposition,” according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. “At this time, the case is being investigated as a suspicious death, and no identification or cause of death has been determined.”
