Sheriff’s office releases name of woman found dead at college

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies have released the name of the woman who was found dead at Lake Tahoe Community College last month.

Beverly Elizabeth Barday, 36, was found seated in a chair at the college’s lobby the afternoon of March 25, said Lt. Les Lovell on Wednesday.

A determination on the cause of Barday’s death is pending toxicology results, Lovell said.

“It does not look like there’s any foul play, it looks like a natural case at this time,” Lovell said.
