Sho Kashima collects pair ot top-10 results at World Championships

INAWASHIRO, Japan – Sho Kashima of the South Shore capped a successful World Freestyle Championships on Sunday with his second top-10 performance.

After finishing sixth in the single moguls on Saturday, Kashima concluded his second appearance at the championships by placing 10th in dual moguls.

Kashima was 30th in singles and seventh in duals at the 2007 World Championships.

Teammate Pat Deneen, who won Saturday’s men’s single moguls contest, led the Americans by finishing fifth in duals.

Hannah Kearney topped the U.S. women by earning a bronze medal in duals. Tahoe City’s Shannon Bahrke was sixth in single moguls and 11th in duals.
