Showers and thunderstorms for Lake Tahoe to continue

The Lake Tahoe Basin can expect more isolated thunderstorms throughout the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Areas of fog may appear throughout the basin this morning, with isolated showers and thunderstorms for the afternoon.

Light winds will be from the west around 10 mph, with highs 56 to 66, according to the Reno-based weather service.



Tonight expect party cloudy skies and isolated showers and thunderstorms to continue.

On Tuesday the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies in the morning, turning to mostly cloudy skies with a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will range from 59 to 69, with light winds from the southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. On Tuesday night expect mostly cloudy skies, with lows 36 to 46.




Wednesday should bring mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 58 to 68, with lows 35 to 45.

The forecast for the later part of the week calls for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday. Highs 56 to 66, with lows 36 to 46.
